Mexico has officially banned marine mammal entertainment. The Senate voted unanimously to end the use of dolphins, whales, and other marine mammals in shows—effectively freeing them from performance. Around 350 dolphins currently in human care will stay in protected environments, but this historic move ensures no future generations will be held for entertainment.
