At the end of October, 31 Rockstar devs who were working on GTA 6 were laid off. The employees claimed it had to do with union busting while Rockstar has denied that as the case. In response Rockstar said it was because there was leaking of confidential information via Discord chat. The UK Government now plans to intervene with the Prime Minister Kier Starmer stating, “It’s a deeply concerning case. Every worker has the right to join a trade union.
