Half-submerged in the North Sea, Under (@underlindesnes) sits at the southern tip of Norway as Europe’s very first underwater restaurant — and one of the world’s most extraordinary dining experiences.
Designed by @snohetta, the monolithic concrete structure sinks 5.5 meters below sea level, giving guests a front-row seat to the shifting marine life outside its panoramic glass walls.
Since opening in 2019, it’s earned a Michelin star and global acclaim for its ever-changing tasting menu — built entirely around local seafood, coastal herbs, and the rhythms of the sea itself.
