  • Swipe A natural heart-shaped amethyst crystal geode was found inside a large rock in #Uruguay - a once in a lifetime discovery

Workers discovered the amazing quartz geode at the border of Uruguay and Brazil when they split open a rock to discover a beautiful purple heart on each side of it.

The land with its rugged terrain of basalt provided difficult conditions under which to work, but their struggle was rewarded with a pearl of great price.

They have already received a bid of $120,000 for the matching pair of rocks. Due to the basalt, the geode is estimated to weigh over 150 pounds (80kg).

  • Whole communities do not simply vanish, yet six of them did. One colony left behind a single carved word. A king’s army disappeared into the sand. Three men walked out of a lighthouse and never returned. A Canadian village was abandoned in the middle of a meal. A ship drifted across the water with no crew aboard. A Brazilian town left nothing but a warning painted on a wall. There were no bodies, no answers, and no explanations that satisfy history. These are not legends but real places where people walked in and never walked out.

  • In 2005, Swedish British billionaire Johan Eliasch bought nearly 400,000 acres of Amazon rainforest in Brazil to stop commercial logging and protect the land from further destruction. After purchasing the logging company that operated there, he shut down all timber extraction to focus entirely on conservation.

His work with environmental organizations such as Rainforest Trust and Cool Earth has since helped safeguard millions of acres of tropical rainforest while supporting local communities who depend on these ecosystems.

The initiative, which included more than one hundred jurists from 35 countries, takes place amid international questions about the jurisprudence of pressure exerted by Washington against Nicolás Maduro’s government – both through bombings of vessels and the movement of aircraft carriers near the Venezuelan coast.

  • It has become increasingly clear that, just as the Landless Rural Workers’ Movement (MST) and several other organizations, movements, collectives, and groups warned, agribusiness is at the forefront of the supposed search for solutions to the environmental crisis.

Embrapa’s (the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation, a state entity) event at the Climate Conference is sponsored by giants such as Bayer, Nestlé, and Syngenta, accused of practices that exacerbate socio-environmental damage

Why buffalo? The landscape is flooded and full of rivers, so the usual wheels don’t work. These sturdy animals navigate the marshes like champs.

  • On November 6, COP30 began in Brazil, a United Nations meeting attended by nearly 50 world leaders to address the most pressing issues of climate change. The meeting is being held in Belem, a city located in the Amazon, one of the regions most affected and threatened by climate change.

Brazilian head of state Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is hosting a conference that aims to promote an agenda already agreed upon in the Paris Agreement which, according to the president, has not yet been fulfilled by the nearly 195 signatory countries. To this end, the meeting of world leaders will consist of three working groups (climate and nature; energy transition; and review of the Paris Agreement), in addition to a plenary session.
